There’s so mulch to learn

Registration is now open for the 2019 Lincoln County Master Gardener training, which allows participants to learn about the art and science of gardening and to share their newfound knowledge with others.

The course is designed for aspiring gardeners who are willing to learn, and in turn, help other community members improve their gardening skills. Oregon State Master Gardener volunteers have access to advanced training from university researchers and horticultural specialists.

After completing the training, Master Gardener graduates volunteer throughout Lincoln County, reaching out to community members at five demonstration gardens, staffing a plant clinic help desk, promoting the benefits and joys of gardening at community events, and working with other gardening enthusiasts.

Registration is open until Dec. 18.
