Traveling the Oregon Coast has always been an illuminating experience, but never more so than this year, with villages and towns throughout Tillamook County coming together to put on a lights display that stretches 60 miles from Manzanita to Neskowin.

Throughout December, light displays will be on show in Manzanita, Nehalem, Wheeler, Rockaway Beach, Garibaldi, Bay City, Tillamook, Cloverdale, Pacific City and Neskowin.

Visit Tillamook Coast tourism director Nan Devlin said the joint effort is aimed at creating a nice driving tour of Oregon’s coastal villages, with added sparkle for the season.

“Each town will have its own theme,” Devlin said. “Garibaldi has a fishing theme; Tillamook and Cloverdale a barn and cow theme; and Neskowin a golfing theme.”
