Bird lovers will be flocking to the Connie Hansen Garden on Friday, June 21, to attend the annual meeting of the Audubon Society of Lincoln City, complete with potluck dinner.

The evening will feature a slide presentation from past-president Jack Doyle on the birds of Arizona. Guests will also get a peek at the group’s upcoming season of classes for children and adults, see highlights from the recent Volunteer Fair and Migratory Bird Festival, get enthused about local conservation efforts and much more.

A brief business meeting will allow the group to elect new board members. Non-members and guests are welcome, but only eligible members may vote.

Information will be on offer about how to become involved in Audubon’s activities for the coming year, from conservation projects to helping with a class of kindergarteners.

Guests should bring a favorite main dish, salad or dessert. Beverages and accessories, plates and utensils will be provided.

The gathering will run from 5 to 7 pm 1931 NW 33rd Street, Lincoln City.
