There will be no nodding off at the back of the Newport 60+ Activity Center on Thursday, April 25, when Michael Stout of the Samaritan Pacific Sleep & Neurodiagnostics Lab presents on the important subject of sleep.

Stout’s presentation will cover the importance and function of sleep as well as an overview of sleep disorders and how changes in lifestyle can prevent or reverse them. He is an advocate for whole-food, plant-based nutrition and hopes to spend a little time on the benefits of this lifestyle. He will answer questions as they arise, but will also have a time for questions and answers at the end of the presentation.

The presentation will run from 2 to 3 pm at 20 SE 2nd Street. To book a spot, call 541-265-9617 or drop by the center.
