Time is running out to buy tickets for Pearls of Wisdom, the inaugural community celebration from Oregon Coast Community College.

Only 100 tickets will be sold to the gala event, which will see the college’s Newport campus filled with gourmet food, craft beer and dynamic displays on Saturday, March 9.

Guests will enjoy a fantastic meal prepared by Side Door Café and beverages provided by a number of area wineries and by renowned coastal brewers including DeGarde, Reach Break, Rogue and Rusty Truck Brewing, all of which are donating select brews for this special occasion.

Inspired by the college’s past signature event, “The Oyster Cloyster,” the evening is an opportunity to experience Oregon Coast Community College through a unique selection of course offerings, designed to enlighten and delight guests. Guests are invited to tour the campus, where they will discover everything from sharks to art to digital magic. They will be able to engage with faculty, staff and students to learn about the college’s programs.

A wine pull will offer guests the chance to discover a new favorite winery while raising money to support the college’s activities. Guests will also be able to open their wallets to good effect at the event’s raffle and paddle raise.

Tickets, $75 apiece, are available at Ticket sales close March 1, unless they sell out early.
