Study some common core

New Moon Yoga in Lincoln City will be offering a special workshop exploring Kundalini Yoga on Saturday, Nov. 10.

Titled “Experience Gratitude Together,” the class invites participants to explore the beauty and technology of a yoga form that ties together mind and body.

“Strengthening our nervous system is a priority in our overstimulated times,” said instructor Angee Franzen. “Balancing our glandular system allows us to take refuge and be available to the great fullness within each of us. We are then available to serve our highest best. We will leave connected to our radiance, aligned with our sacred sense of fullness, allowing us to honor this season of gratitude.”

Franzen has been practicing and teaching yoga for 17 years, studying and practicing Kundalini Yoga with Kia Miller for the past three. She brings her wisdom, vulnerability and honesty to each class.

The Nov. 10 workshop will run from 2 to 3:30 pm at New Moon studio, located in the Lincoln City Cultural Center at 540 NE Hwy. 101.

Tuition is $25 in advance or $30 at the door. To book a spot, call 971-303-9646 or email info@newmoonyoga.org.
