There are still spaces available in Lincoln City’s Peace Village Day Camp, which will return for its 24th year on Monday, June 29.

Held at the Congregational Church of Lincoln City, the five-day camp offers morning sessions on music and story, followed by media literacy, conflict resolution, connecting with nature, and mindfulness through yoga and meditation. Afternoon activities include a trip to the beach to build sand villages, a hike, an art project, and presenters from varied cultural and religious backgrounds.

The camp is open to students entering 2nd grade through age 13 and runs from 9 am to 3:30 pm Monday through Friday. For campers aged 12 and 13, there is an overnight Rites of Passage on Thursday night.

The week-long camp costs $60, but no camper is turned away due to inability to pay all or part of that cost. Campers bring their own lunch but are provided with snacks.

For information or to register, call the church at 541-994-2378 or Barbara Crandall at 541-994-4799.
