Beautiful quilts and other handmade items will be available this weekend in Lincoln City as St. Peter the Fisherman Lutheran Church hosts its annual Christmas Bazaar.
Running throughout Friday and Saturday, Nov. 1 and 2, the bazaar will also feature a Treasure Room full of jewelry and gifts, a bake sale stocked with home baked goodies, and freshly cracked walnuts from the Yamhill Valley.
Besides the quilts created to sell at the bazaar, the church also send quilts to Lutheran World Relief for distribution around the United States and the world. New this year is the Jelly Roll quilt project, which sees volunteers making quilts for homeless students in Lincoln City.
All proceeds from our event go toward the church’s mission project, which include local efforts such as My Sisters’ Place, hospice, Lincoln City Food Pantry, Neighbors for Kids in Depoe Bay, Backpack Food Program, Family Promise and Thanksgiving Dinner Boxes.
The bazaar is open both days from 10 am to 3 pm, with lunch served in the St. Peter Cafe from 11 am to 2 pm.
The church is located on Highway 101 at SW 14th Street across from Lincoln City Outlets.
