Tips on how to grow perfect vegetables and turn them into delicious dinners will be on offer on Saturday, Dec. 1, when the Tillamook County OSU Master Gardeners host their Fall Home & Garden Classes.

The classes, which are open to all, will be held at the OSU Extension Service building, 4506 Third Street, Tillamook.

Master Gardener volunteers will offer a choice of two classes in each time slot, starting with “Hearty Soups” or “Garden Tools” from 9 to 10:30 am.

From 10:40 am to 12:10 pm, participants can choose from “Cooking with an Instant Pot” or “Propagating Perennials. After a lunch break, classes will conclude with a choice between “Plant Identification Apps for Your Phone” and “Dahlia Dividing & Swap” from 1 to 2:30 pm.

Classes are first-come-first served and cost $5 per person, cash or check. Proceeds will be used to cover class supplies and to help support further Master Gardener educational projects.

Registration begins at 8:30 am or 30 minutes before a class starts.
