Oregon’s winter bounty will be on show this weekend as the Lincoln City Farmers and Crafters Market holds its inaugural farm to table affair, Food for Thought.
The event will takes place over two days, starting on Saturday, Feb. 16, with a Tapas Buffet Dinner Party at the Beach Club and Event Center, featuring small plates, wine and beer pairings, a silent auction, live music and dancing.
In addition to plates crafted by the Beach Club chef, the evening’s tapas selections will include food produced by Lincoln City Farmers and Crafters market vendors — fresh organic produce, all-natural chicken and beef, Oregon Coast Dungeness crab and vegan options.
Dishes include beef brisket street tacos, spicy chicken skewers, mini crab salad, vegan tacos, caramel apple bites and many more.
The Tapas Buffet Dinner Party will run from 5 to 9 pm at 2020 NE 22nd Street. Tickets are $20 in advance and $25 at the door.
Food for Thought will continue from 11 am to 6 pm on Sunday, Feb. 17, when the Beach Club will play host to the Farmers and Crafters Market vendors, a brunch, silent auction and live music.
Admission to the Farmers and Crafters Market is free, with brunch and beverages sold separately. Brunch food tickets are $8 in advance and $10 at the door.
