Free arts and crafts will be on offer this weekend in Toledo as the Oregon Coast Children’s Theatre and Oregon Coast Children’s Center for the Arts celebrates its 30th anniversary.

The annual craft fair gives students and family members the chance to make holiday ornaments, assemblage art gift boxes and greeting cards all free of charge. Donations are accepted.

Guests can also browse the offerings in a holiday gift sale, featuring both new and used items including jewelry, artwork and more.

There will also be special sale items offered from the Olalla Center for Children and Families, including toys, games and furniture items to benefit operations at the educational center. Guests will also be able to volunteer on a community art project for the Olalla Center and help the Oregon Coast Children’s Theatre celebrate its 30th anniversary.

The event will run from 2 to 6 pm on Friday, Dec. 20, and from 10 am to 4 pm on Saturday, Dec. 21, at the Flowerree Community Center, located in the old Mary Harrison Elementary School at 321 SE 3rd Street, Toledo.

To donate or for more information, call or text Artistic Director Lawrence Adrian at 503-801-0603 or e-mail oregoncoastchildrenstheatre@gmail.com.
