Lincoln City’s Theatre West is looking for actors to perform in its upcoming production of “The Heidi Chronicles,” a drama by Wendy Wasserstein.

The play traces the coming of age of successful art historian Heidi Holland as she tries to find her bearings in a rapidly changing world. Gradually distancing herself from her friends, she watches them move from the idealism and political radicalism of their college years through militant feminism and, eventually, back to the materialism that they had sought to reject in the first place.

Director Bryan Kirsch is looking for five women and three men to bring the play to life.

Auditions will be held at 7 pm on Sunday and Monday, Jan. 27 and 28, at Theatre West, 3536 Hwy. 101.

The play will run from May 9 through June 1. Most rehearsals will be at Theatre West. Performances will be at the Lincoln City Cultural Center.
