Manzanita’s Hoffman Center for the Arts will host an interactive workshop titled “Writing Your Life Story” on Wednesday, Feb. 13, as part of its ongoing Art of Aging Series.

Instructor Kathie Hightower will lead participants through the process of how to tell their stories, as well as exploring their motives for doing so.

“You’ll walk away with a solid start and with questions to spur you to fill in more after the session,” she said. “You’ll also leave with a list of other helpful resources to keep you motivated to finish the process.”

Hightower spent 26 years presenting workshops in the corporate and government world. Now, she is focusing her research on the topic of second adulthood, how to stay active, engaged, healthy and purposeful after 50.

The Feb. 13 workshop will run from 3 to 5 pm at the Hoffman Center for the Arts, 594 Laneda Avenue. Admission is $5.
