Imagination doesn’t have an expiration date, so readers of all ages are invited to take part in the “Imagine Your Story” summer reading activities on offer from Newport Public Library.

The program runs from Monday, June 1, through Friday, Aug. 31, with activity kits and summer reading packets distributed every month through the Library Take Out service. To schedule an appointment, call at 541-265-2153.

Reading program participants are asked to track the books they read or listen to and fill out a raffle ticket for each one. Library staff will draw tickets for prizes on the last day of June, July and August, with the winners getting to choose a themed basket of prizes. Participants who get a bingo on their Book Bingo Sheet will be entered to win additional prizes.

For any questions about adult summer reading or other library programs and services, call the library at 541-265-2153 or go to
