The latest Spotlight Show from Newport’s Yaquina Art Association will showcase a selection of work from the association’s colored pencil class.

The free class takes place every Wednesday from 10 am to 12:30 pm in the classroom behind the First Baptist Church at 208 NW 6th Street.

People of all levels of experience are welcome to come along, learn to draw and use shading techniques that will make their work stand out.

The colored pencil exhibit will run through Friday, Feb. 15, available to view from 11 am to 4 pm daily at the Yaquina Art Association Gallery, 789 NW Beach Drive.
