Singer-songwriter David Roth will perform his 16th annual concert on the Oregon Coast this Sunday, May 5, appearing at the Istanbul Rug Bazaar in Cloverdale.

Roth strikes many chords, hearts and minds with his unique songs, offbeat observations, moving stories, sense of the hilarious and powerful subject matter. As singer, songwriter, recording artist, keynote speaker, workshop leader and instructor, he has earned top honors at premier songwriter competitions and taken his music to a wide variety of venues for more than two decades.

Roth’s songs have found their way to Carnegie Hall, the United Nations, the Kennedy Center and even outer space — “Rocket Science” went up with the space shuttle Atlantis on its 2009 mission to repair the Hubble Telescope.

The concert, featuring an opening set from Sonya Kazen and Fred Bassett, will begin at 5 pm at the Istanbul Carpet Bazaar at 34390 Hwy. 101 S.

Admission is by suggested donation of $12 but no-one will be turned away.

Pot luck snacks are welcome.
