Lincoln City’s Theatre West is looking for six actors to perform in its production of “Sex Please, We’re 60,” a comedy by Michael and Susan Parker.

Mrs. Stancliffe’s Rose Cottage Bed & Breakfast is a successful business, whose guests — nearly all women — return year after year. Her next-door neighbor, the elderly, silver-tongued Bud “the Stud” Davis claims they come to spend time with him in romantic liaisons. The prim and proper Mrs. Stancliffe steadfastly denies this, but really doesn’t do anything to prevent it. Her other neighbor and would-be suitor Henry Mitchell is a retired chemist who has developed a blue pill called Venusia to increase the libido of menopausal women. The pill has not been tested, until now...

Director Debby Rhein, recently returned to the Oregon Coast after a spell in Santa Rosa, is looking to cast four women and two men.

Auditions will be held at 7 pm on Sundays and Mondays, April 28 and 29 and May 5 and 6, at Theatre West, 3536 SE Hwy. 101. The play will run from July 11 through Aug. 31, with evening performances each Thursday, Friday and Saturday and two Sunday matinées on dates yet to be determined.
