Lincoln City’s Pacific Artist Alliance Co-Op Gallery will hold a public reception this Friday, April 12, to showcase the work of the work of Joyce Michelina Centofanti, who is the featured artist for the month of April.

Centofanti is the current president of the Pacific Artist Alliance and is also a substitute teacher for the Lincoln County School District. “Dr. Joyce” as her friends and students know her, combines traditional art forms with a creative and experimental attitude to create humorous and thought-provoking sculptures. Viewers are drawn into the scenes as laughing or contemplative participants in the often-lighthearted environments. Centofanti aims for her artwork to evoke a smile, laughter or passionate inquiry.

Friday’s reception will run from 5 to 7 pm, featuring food, wine and music by Mark Olson alongside work by the gallery’s new artists.

The Co-Op Gallery is located at 620 NE Hwy. 101.
