The latest Spotlight Show from the Yaquina Art Association will be showcase the ceramic creations of Dr. Joyce Centofanti.

Centofanti, who lives in Seal Rock, is a professional artist, art educator and special education consultant. She has been exhibiting her work for more than 35 years in juried and solo exhibits, museums and galleries throughout the United States. She has also presented and exhibited in Canada, China, Russia and Sweden.

Centofanti’s new ceramic artworks are inspired by her experience of the Oregon Coast and aim to prompt everything from a smile or laughter to passionate inquiry. Through the use of color and bold composition, she hopes to draw spectators into the whimsical spaces as participants.

The show will be on display through Friday, Nov. 1, available to view from 11 am to 4 pm daily at the Yaquina Art Association Gallery, 789 NW Beach Drive.
