Sunflowers have blossomed, vegetables are ripe and other farmers’ market-worthy treats are finally in season.

Now that summer is in full swing, it’s especially a joy to walk around our coastal towns and to see unique gardens in bloom. From professional farmers, to amateur gardeners, to first-time plant owners, there are an abundance of gardeners on the North Coast.

While restrictions from the coronavirus have dampened some gardening events, Coast Weekend wants to bring back a little joy to our local gardeners through a virtual gardening tour.

If you have a garden of your own, regardless of the size or your skill level, we want to see it. Send in a photo of your garden, with your name and town of residence, to aevans@dailyastorian.com. Entries will be collected and published in an August edition of Coast Weekend and online at coastweekend.com.
