ASTORIA – Spend your Saturday evening in Astoria and watch the city light up with holiday cheer. There will be two lightings that day, and you can catch them both.

The first happens at 4:30 p.m. downtown outside of the Liberty Theatre. The Historic District Association’s annual “Downtown Lighting and Holiday Kickoff” will feature caroling led by The Q Choir, a “Shop Plaid Raffle,” guest appearances and more.

Then, at 6 p.m., head over to Joe’s Mobil, 1701 Marine Drive across from Maritime Museum, for the Astoria Christmas Club’s annual Christmas tree lighting, which will feature 4,000 LED lights. And be sure to keep an eye out for Santa.
