A look at one of the museum’s new exhibits.

SEASIDE — The Seaside Museum will celebrate its reopening with a ribbon cutting at noon on Friday at the museum, 570 Necanicum Blvd.

The museum’s reopening also marks the opening of a special exhibit by Oregon Historical Society, “Oregon Voices.” The exhibit features five three-sided pop-up kiosks that explore some of the people, events and ideas that have shaped Oregon and fought for social change.

The museum is also featuring several new exhibits both indoors at at the Butterfield Cottage buildings.

The ribbon cutting is sponsored by the Seaside Chamber of Commerce.

The museum will be open from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays.
