WHEELER — Lower Nehalem Community Trust will host a roadside cleanup event from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., off U.S. Highway 101 and Hemlock Street. Register at nehalemtrust.org.

The event will be held in honor of Earth Day. Volunteers will clean alongside the highway, in a section managed by the trust for Oregon Department of Transportation’s Adopt-A-Highway program.

Participants should be at least 16 years of age. All participants will be required to sign a waiver and release prior to participation.
