SEASIDE — The Seaside Museum and Historical Society will present local resident Nancy Anderson at 6 p.m. on March 26 in Seaside Brewing Co., 851 Broadway St.

Anderson will tell the story of her great aunt Belle Cooper Rinehart Ferguson, who traveled the Oregon Trail as a child and later became one of the state’s first female doctors. Anderson’s presentation will be based on Belle’s writings.

Anderson’s daughter, Heather Bell Henry, will join the presentation.

Anderson is the director and founder of the Knappton Cove Heritage Center. She is an author, craft designer and retired elementary school teacher. Her presentation will be part of the museum’s monthly History & Hops series.
