Youth conservation corps member

A previous youth conservation corps member.

ASTORIA — Lewis and Clark National Historical Park is accepting applicants to its 2020 Youth Conservation Corps.

The corps is a work-based education program for youth, ages 15 to 18. Participants will work between June 15 and Aug. 21. While in the program, participants will learn about environmental and conservation issues.

Pay is $12 an hour. No previous wilderness experience is required.

Completed applications are due April 3. Applications are available in the park’s visitor center, 92343 Fort Clatsop Road. Application requirements are listed at bit.ly/2TQau7d.
