Youth Conservation Corps members in 2020.

ASTORIA — Lewis and Clark National Historical Park is accepting applications for its 2021 Youth Conservation Corps.

The corps is a work-based education program for youth, ages 15 to 18. Participants will work between July 6 and Aug. 23. While in the program, participants will learn about environmental and conservation issues.

Pay is $11.25 an hour. No previous wilderness experience is required.

Completed applications are due April 12. Applications are available online at and in the park’s visitor center, 92343 Fort Clatsop Road.
