ASTORIA — Jakob Shockey, executive director of The Beaver Coalition and owner of Beaver State Wildlife Solutions, will present “Collaborating with Beaver for a Resilient Future” for Lewis and Clark National Historical Park’s monthly “Nature Matters” lecture series at 7 p.m. Wednesday.

Shockey has worked professionally in Oregon’s streams, rivers and wetlands for over eight years. During the lecture, he will discuss benefits of collaborating with beavers in ecological restoration.
