ASTORIA — Columbia River Maritime Museum’s education department is hosting holiday programs Friday through Sunday.

The program will be held at 6 p.m. Friday; 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. Saturday; and 10 a.m. Sunday at the museum’s Barbey Maritime Center, located in the east side of the museum’s parking lot. During the program, visitors of all ages will be able to construct Christmas trees using materials that could have been found on sailing ships during the 1900s.

Registration is available at crmm.org. Ticketing is for groups of one to four people. Museum members can register their group for $20. Non-museum members can register their groups for $25. Groups will be allotted one tree.

Participants will be expected to follow social distancing guidelines and to wear face coverings throughout the event.
