Join the festivities at the Cannon Beach History Center and Museum.

CANNON BEACH — Join the Cannon Beach History Center and Museum’s board of directors and staff for an all-day family-friendly holiday celebration. The event kicks off at noon on Saturday at the museum, 1387 S Spruce St. This is a free event.

The event will feature a no-host hot chocolate bar with whipped cream, marshmallows and chocolate treats as well as apple cider and coffee.

Arts and crafts run until 3 p.m. The museum will also offer a children’s story time at 3 p.m. and face painting from 1-3 p.m.

Santa Claus and friends will be available for photos. Volunteers will be dressed as Santa’s reindeer, and Rudolph may stop by.

This event will give you one last chance to check out the “Shipwrecks of the Oregon Coast” exhibit, as well as pick up a last minute gift for that history buff in your life. Gift shop items will be 10% off that day.
