A new market has opened at Pier 39 in Astoria.

ASTORIA — The Hanthorn Cannery Market, Astoria Sunday Market and North Coast Food Web’s Small Farms Market Day are open to customers.

The Hanthorn Cannery Market at Pier 39, a new market, will operate from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sundays through September. The market opened last Sunday.

The market features local photography, paintings, driftwood art, souvenirs and food.

Vendors who make hand-crafted products are welcome to apply. Booths will cost $15 or $25 per event, or $55 or $80 per month, depending on the booth’s size.

The market will be ran by the Hanthorn Cannery Foundation.

The Astoria Sunday Market will open Sunday and run from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sundays through Oct. 10 along 12th Street.

North Coast Food Web’s Small Farms Market Day runs weekly. Customers order food and plants before Tuesday at midnight. Items are available for pick-up in Astoria on Thursdays or via delivery.
