SEAVIEW, Wash. — “Treasure From,” an art exhibit by Jillian Barthold, opens Friday, March 8, and runs through Sunday, June 2, in the Sou’wester Lodge’s vintage travel trailer-turned-gallery.

The opening reception takes place 6 to 9 p.m. Friday, March 8. The event is free and open to the public.

The exhibit explores Barthold’s relationship to the objects surrounding her and their worth while removing the word “worth” from the context of monetary value. The series examines what constitutes treasure to an individual and finds that perhaps, most often, treasure is less about the object itself and more about where it comes from.

Barthold is an illustrator, designer and maker living in Portland.

The lodge is at 3728 J Place, Seaview.
