Admission is free, but space is limited: first come, first served.

Icelandic author and translator Rúnar Helgi Vignisson will read “Sandals” from “Ást í meinum” (“Love and Other Complications”), a short-story collection published in 2012. Precipice Fund 2019 artist Anne Greenwood Rioseco, whose exhibition “Icelandic Threads” is currently on display at the AVA Gallery, will talk about her work, created during her residence at the Icelandic Textile Center in Blönduós, Iceland. Combining her interest in art and science, Greenwood explores the shared geological landforms of Iceland and Oregon.

Classic Nordic food and drink will be served.
