Astoria Visual Arts seeks artists for a members’ exhibit at RiverSea Gallery, Saturday, Jan. 12, through Tuesday, Feb 5. Artwork must explore the theme “My Secret Astoria.” All media are welcome.

Current members are invited to submit one to three pieces to RiverSea from noon to 4 p.m. Sunday or Monday, Jan. 6 or 7. Artwork must not exceed 36 inches wide and must be for sale.

As wall space is limited, Betsy Millard, executive director of the Columbia Pacific Heritage Museum, will select artwork to be included in the exhibit. The opening reception will take place during Astoria’s Second Saturday Art Walk, 5 to 8 p.m. Jan. 12.

A portion of sales will support AVA’s Miss Bea Fund for enhanced, community-based arts learning in area high schools.
