GEARHART — The Gearhart First Saturday Art Walk will be held from 2 to 5 p.m. on Saturday. Refreshments will be served at participating locations.

A Great Gallery, 576 Pacific Way

Presenting new pieces by Susan Thomas, of local beach scenes and blue herons. New gourd birds by Mary Schlunegger will also be featured. Yarn and gifts will be available to purchase.

Cascade-Sothebys, 587 Pacific Way

Featuring artists Linda Gebhart, Michael Muldoon, Kitty Paino, Robin Davis and Carol Braden, among others, of Trail’s End Art Association.

Pacific Crest Cottage, 726 Pacific Way

Celebrating the art of music through “Sassy Lassies,” a collaboration of harmonious female vocals, accompanied with guitar. The musicians will play familiar folk tunes and original songs. The music will be performed outdoors between 4 and 6 p.m., weather permitting. Space is limited and registration is requested by texting 503-440-2547.

Trail’s End Art Association, 656 A Street

Presenting a new show, featuring photographer Richard Newman, who will discuss his techniques during the art walk. Newman grew up in Cleveland, Ohio, and now lives in Gearhart and Beaverton. He takes photos of landscapes, nature, sports and historical objects, with a focus on “the various textures that nature has provided.” Other artists’ works will also be displayed in the gallery.
