ASTORIA — LightBox Photographic Gallery’s new exhibit, “The Fantastic Film Show,” will open Saturday during 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. inside the gallery, 1045 Marine Drive.

The exhibit features photographs made with a variety of cameras, including plastic, pinhole, box and homemade cameras. Any image created using film was considered.

The exhibit will be on display through Aug. 4.

Featured photographers include Alice Christine Walker, Nika DeCarlo, Bill Kirby, Yelena Zhavoronkova, Marky Kauffmann, Angie Brockey, Elisabeth Dare and Ron Dobrowski. More than 40 artists are included in the exhibit.

The gallery is available for viewing weekly during 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday through Saturday. Gallery visitors are asked to call ahead of time and to wear a mask.
