Tufted puffins

Terri Neal’s winning photograph of tufted puffins.

CANNON BEACH — The Friends of Haystack Rock organization is accepting entries for a second photography contest.

The organization hosted a contest earlier this summer in June. The winner of the contest was Terri Neal, who entered a photo of tufted puffins at Haystack Rock. The purpose of the contests are to promote Haystack Rock’s beauty and raise awareness of the rock’s fragile inhabitants.

Submissions will be accepted until Sept. 15. Photos should be taken at Haystack Rock. Each submission must include information on where the photo was taken, a caption and a title. Photos should be emailed to fohrcontest@gmail.com or uploaded at bit.ly/30Z9Zg1.

The contest’s first place winner will receive a poster, and will be featured on the organization’s website and newsletter.

Second and third place winners will be featured on the organization’s website.
