'Shakespeare in the Park'

CANNON BEACH — Coaster Theatre Playhouse is hosting two summer shows at Cannon Beach Park, off Second and Spruce streets, behind the Cannon Beach Visitors Center.

The first show, “Sixty-Second Shakespeare,” will be held at 6 p.m. on Fridays through Sept. 3. The show involves a “collection of humorous scenes and sonnets from classic Shakespearian plays.”

The second show, “The Case of The Coaster Clambake,” will be held at 6 p.m. on Saturdays through Sept. 4. The show is a murder mystery.

The shows will also be held in Astoria at 4 p.m. on July 25 in McClure Park.

Both shows are free to attend but donations are welcome.
