SEASIDE — It’s not too late to catch the Seaside High School Drama Department’s winter musical, “Little Shop of Horrors” by Howard Ashman.
Final performances will be held 7 p.m. Thursday through Saturday, Feb. 28 through March 2, in the high school cafetorium.
“Little Shop of Horrors” is the story of Seymour Krelborn. Seymour is in love with Audrey, who has an abusive boyfriend, Orin Scrivello D.D.S. Seymour also works for the unappreciative Mr. Mushnik at the Skid Row Florist Shop.
That all changes when Seymour buys a strange, exotic plant he names Audrey II.
Almost instantly, the plant brings him fame and fortune, and most importantly, the girl. The only problem is that the plant needs human blood to survive.
Admission is $10 for adults, $8 for students and seniors, $6 for SHS students with ASB cards and children under 12. If patrons have special needs, call Susee at 503-396-9790 and specific seats can be saved.
